At Keystone we’ve learned that to maintain an industry standard in quality and performance, we need to continually invest in our infrastructure, our people and our processes to deliver the best brooms possible.
As the OEM broom supplier to most of the sweeper manufacturers in North America, we ship consistent quality, on-time, day in and day out. How well your broom performs is not about the the cost of the broom. Performance is about how well the broom does the job it’s intended to do. The price you pay for a replacement broom is only the beginning of the cost associated with changing the broom. The downtime of the sweeper and the labor cost can add up to more than the actual broom.

As we roll into the 2023 season we are all looking forward to getting out and networking at all the industry events throughout the year. Below is a list of many of the events related to our industry. Keystone will be exhibiting at ConExpo (booth S60738 March 14-18) and the Sweeper Summit in October. We’ll be attending the rest and look forward to see you all!

In the fall of 2021 we developed a Customer Portal to allow customers to view sales orders, invoices, credits, account statement and track shipments. We’ve made several update since the initial launch and asked users what additional features they’d like to see. Online Ordering was the overwhelming response.
This month kicks off the first of this year’s trade shows. We hope to see you at one of these great events this year.
We would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season! As hard as it may be to believe, another year is coming to an end. 2021 has been challenging in many ways with continued raw material and supply chain issues.
Thanks to all the hard work from our internal teams along with our valued suppliers, we have been able to consistently supply the sweeping industry with brooms all year and be the reliable supplier you’ve come to expect.
Wafers are used to make main brooms for mechanical sweepers, road construction sweepers, and sweeper attachments.
Wafers are individual broom discs that stack on top of each other on a wafer rack to make a full broom core. There are two style wafers – Convoluted and Flat. Convoluted wafers have a wavy shape and flat wafers are well, flat.
Most people tend to stick with whatever broom type or configuration is on the sweeper when the sweeper is purchased. If you’re using flat wafers you may want to see why switching to convoluted can save you time and money.
